Paris Jackson got on her hands and knees to scrub a defaced Hollywood Walk of Fame star honoring Michael Jackson — but not that Michael Jackson.
The star, which had been obscured by red spray paint, celebrates radio personality Michael Jackson, as evidenced by the radio microphone emblem on the star, not Paris’ legendary father, whose star is adorned with a record.
The model didn’t realize the mistake until later, but she’s still happy to have pitched in.
“Some people have no f—king respect,” Paris, 20, captioned a before-and-after Instagram snap of her work. “I understand that there is a difference between the radio emblem and the record, but a name is a name.”
“I was at my [friend’s apartment] that lives basically next door this morning and another buddy of mine said he saw this last night,” Paris later expounded on Twitter. “Thankfully there was a Walgreen’s half a block away. Apparently it’s not his actual star, but hey, that’s still his name. Just a bit of acetone bishhh.”
She added, “I don’t think it was intentionally targeted it at [the radio personality]. I think it was probably just some young kids f—king around. But to me a name is a name and I couldn’t just hear about it and not go see it for myself.”
Despite Paris’ adoration of her father, who died of a Propofol overdose in 2009, she is reportedly estranged from some of her other famous family members.
As The Post reported in April, insiders said the rest of the Jackson clan feared Paris was headed for a “serious meltdown.” Paris denied that she was in trouble, snapping, “It’s a terrible thing and not true … To all the family members that are talking to these news outlets saying you’re worried for me, when was the last time you called me?”
