Teyana Taylor joins the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Future as the latest famous face to serve as a brand ambassador for Reebok.
The G.O.O.D Music signee, who had a stellar 2016 thanks in part to starring in Kanye West’s “Fade” music video, is working with the brand for the re-release of the 1982 shoe, Freestyle Hi’s, which was the first sneaker designed specifically for women.
The partnership is a special one for the 25-year-old, who explained in a press release that she has been rockin’ with Reebok since she was a little girl.
“Reebok has always been a brand that has been very special to my heart ever since I was young,” she said. “Freestyles were all I ever wanted to wear growing up, so it feels like everything is coming full circle with this partnership. I’m honored to be the face of the Freestyle campaign for everything it stood for yesterday and what it still represents today.”
In the commercial for the shoes, the beauty works it out in red Freestyles and a form-fitting striped workout leotard. In the background, Taylor can be heard talking about how working with the brand is “a dream come true.”
