Nicki Minaj’s Pinkprint Tour Documentary Is Coming To The Small Screen On New Year’s Eve

Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint tour may have concluded in summer 2015, but the rapper is bringing it back for old times’ sake. Nicki Minaj and BET have partnered to bring one of the rapper’s tour stops to the small screen in a documentary this New Year’s Eve.

The MC took to Twitter to officially announce the news to her fans on Wednesday (Dec. 21). The concert documentary will reportedly chronicle Nicki’s tour stop at Brooklyn’s Barclay Center, which originally took place in July 2015. The BET network followed her announcement, by sharing a two-minute clip from the forthcoming movie, featuring exclusive interview reels and footage of her performing her hit single “Feeling Myself.”

“I can’t believe how many people are out there, so I’m just on stage in awe of that and grateful for that. I learned that I have to try my best to stay in these moments because some of these things that happen to me are once in a lifetime experiences, and I’ll never get to do it again,” Nicki said of performing in front of hundreds of thousands of fans.

Nicki has definitely ended this year on a high note. In addition to scoring her own concert documentary, the rapper just recently earned her 70th Hot 100 single for “Black Barbies,” which was a remix of Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles.” The track has even propelled the rapper past pop star Taylor Swift, for highest number of Hot 100 chart visits earned by a female artist. She is now the second woman to conquer that feat, behind Aretha Franklin.

Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint tour movie will air on Dec. 31 at 10 p.m. ET on BET.
