A #MannequinChallenge Depicting A Shootout Ended In Cuffs For Two Participants

A group of “Mannequin Challenge” participants not only gained attention from over 86,000 viewers on Facebook, but authorities also viewed their viral offering, landing two people in jail.

While depicting a shootout, police raided a Huntsville, Ala. home where the video was recorded, and discovered a bevy of firearms and marijuana after presenting a search warrant, AL.com reports. Two of the people arrested have been identified as Terry Brown, 23, and Kenneth Fennell White, 49.

Brown faces possession of drug paraphernalia and loitering charges, and law enforcement tacked White with a first degree possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm by a felon charges. The local police department subsequently launched their investigation once the video made it onto their radar.
