K-Dot. Chappelle. U2. Three international superstars in their own right will pop off the Grammys this year in epic fashion.
Kendrick Lamar had a sensational 2017 with the release of his, multi-platinum album, DAMN. His fourth studio album, led to a number of hit singles as well as 7 Grammy nominations. According to E! News, the TDE rapper, will be joined on stage by comedic genius Dave Chapelle and legendary band, U2.
The Good Kid M.A.A.D City rapper used U2’s “American Soul “as a sample for “XXX,” from his latest album. In exchange, he worked with U2 for the intro and outros on their latest album, Songs of Experience.
Although it is unclear what Dave Chappelle will do exactly, his name is involved; which draws a huge amount of attention.
Out of the 7 Grammy nods, the once declared King of New York, is up for “Best Rap Album,” “Album of the Year,” and “Record of the Year.” Kendrick is set to score big at the 2018 Grammys and many can not wait to see what he has in stored. Music’s biggest night is back in New York at Madison Square Garden. Catch the 2018 Grammys on Sunday, Jan. 28, on CBS, 7:30 pm EST.
