Kanye West Meets With Donald Trump At Trump Tower

Kanye West has stepped into the building… of Trump Tower that is. During rush hour on Tuesday morning (Dec. 13), Mr. West was reportedly seen walking into the Tower in Midtown Manhattan to have a meeting with President-elect Donald Trump.

In video footage taken of his arrival, the “Famous” rapper stepped into the lion’s den with an entourage and a camera man. The artist, who was sporting his freshly dyed blonde hair, seemed to be in good spirits, even cracking a smile as cameras snapped away. At some point, the president-elect greeted Kanye in the lobby of his family building in order to take a couple of press pics before continuing their meeting upstairs. Unfortunately, neither the superstar nor the future world leader answered any questions about the reason for his visit, but we have some pretty good ideas about what his meeting with Trump could entail.

After rumors have been circulating, suggesting Trump is having some difficulty booking a gig for his big Inauguration Day (Elton John among others have reportedly pulled out), it’s entirely possible that the only person left to turn to would be Yeezy. It would make a little sense, considering Kanye’s shocking rant during his Saint Pablo Tour, in which he stated that he would have voted for Trump in the general elections.

Kanye’s Trump Tower visit comes right off the heels of his breakdown and hospitalization due to depression, anxiety, and sleep deprivation. Although many reports claim the rapper has still been coping with his latest episode, Ye doesn’t seem to be trying to keep a low profile. But since the rapper has been absent from social media for some time now, fans can probably expect an update from Trump on Twitter regarding the business of their meeting.
