John Cena has made a career of being a tough guy, but that won’t stop him from getting emotional over his broken engagement.
The 40-year-old WWE-turned-movie-star announced his split from fiancée Nikki Bella on Sunday, and has since taken to social media to wax poetic on his break-up.
“Hardship, loss, and humility are extremely difficult waters to navigate, but perseverance thru them builds a strength to withstand anything life throws your way,” he wrote on Twitter Monday.
Meanwhile, on Instagram, he kept it more succinct with a “Simpsons” meme that simply read, “Worst day ever!”
