Wendy Williams’ ‘wig-ologist’ Antwon Jackson dead at 44

Antwon Jackson, the Emmy-winning hairstylist responsible for talk show host andNew Jersey native Wendy Williams’ many wigs, has died suddenly at the age of 44, his longtime friend Crystal Wright confirms to NJ.com.

Jackson, who was born and raised in North Carolina and worked as a hairstylist in Durham for many years before becoming Williams’ so-called “wig-ologist,” was also a fixture on Williams’ after-show on YouTube.

Wright says Jackson had recently returned from vacation with his fiance, Dontay Savoy, a fellow hairstylist, in Mexico, but didn’t have any details on his death and could not comment on reports that he suffered from lupus.
