Actor Thomas Mikal Ford is reportedly fighting for his life in the hospital after suffering an aneurysm in his abdomen.
The TV star — who portrayed Tommy Strawn on the 1990s sitcom “Martin” — is currently on life support at an Atlanta facility, his wife Gina told TMZ.
His prognosis for making it through the rest of the day is not good, according to the celebrity gossip site.
Ford, 52, was reportedly taken to the hospital on Sunday, and his condition has only worsened since his arrival.
Fellow actor Anthony Anderson, a friend of Ford’s, inaccurately tweeted earlier in the day that Ford has passed away.
Ford earned a considerable following for his performance as the sensible best friend of the main character Martin, played by Martin Lawrence, on the beloved sitcom.
He also starred on other popular programs including “The Jamie Foxx Show” and “New York Undercover” and has written a series of children’s books endorsing the importance of avoiding drugs and violence.
