Grammy-Nominated Singer/Songwriter Ro James Releases New Single “Excuse Me”

New York, NY] Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Ro James returns today with “Excuse Me.” The track is the lead single from his forthcoming sophomore album due out this fall via ByStorm Entertainment/RCA Records. Click here to listen.

 

“Excuse Me” is written by James and co-produced by Pierre Medor (Ciara, French Montana, Toni Braxton) and Tricky Stewart (Frank Ocean, Beyoncé, Usher).

 

James is also set to embark on Jessie J’s The R.O.S.E. Tour this fall, kicking off on October 1st in San Francisco. The tour will make stops in major cities including Chicago, Philadelphia and New York before wrapping in Los Angeles.

 

Earlier this year James released his 4-track Smoke EP. He first treated fans to the single “Lost My Mind” ft. Notorious B.I.G. on March 9th, the anniversary of the legendary Brooklyn-rapper’s death. The Smoke EP features additional production by Soundz (Bryson Tiller, Justin Bieber, Wale), Andre Harris (Rae Sremmurd, Jill Scott, Yo Gotti), and Tricky Stewart (Frank Ocean, Beyoncé, Usher).

 

James’ Smoke EP  is the follow-up to his critically acclaimed debut album ELDORADO,which included his hit single “Permission.” “Permission” has been streamed nearly 150 million times worldwide, earned Ro his first-ever Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance and spent 10 weeks at #1 on the Urban Adult Radio chart. Additionally, he earned nominations for Best New Artist at the 2017 NAACP Image Awards and Best New R&B Artist at the 2017 iHeart Radio Music Awards.
