Connexus Technology CEO Wins Philadelphia Business Journal Award

Lawrence A. James, President and CEO of Connexus Technology, LLC (Connexus), has been named a recipient of the Minority Business Leader Award by the Philadelphia Business Journal. Award honorees are comprised of the top minority business owners and executives in the Philadelphia area who are wholly committed to leadership, civic engagement, and ethics.

“I am humbled to be acknowledged by the Philadelphia Business Journal for such a prestigious award, and honored to be selected amongst other notable industry peers for this accolade,” said Lawrence. “This award underscores the valuable contributions of the entire Connexus team, and their continued ability to improve the technology infrastructure of organizations across the Greater Philadelphia Region and beyond.”

A requisite for the award was involvement in community or philanthropic work. Lawrence’s civic engagement is an indication of his character. His service underscores his passion and interests in youth empowerment, bridging the digital divide, and criminal justice reform.

Winners from the 2018 class of Minority Business Leaders were selected by a panel of staff from the Philadelphia Business Journal. An awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, at the Sheraton, Society Hill in Philadelphia.
