Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, has signed a new record label deal with RCA Records, with his management company/creative agency Wolf + Rothstein, forming a partnership with the company.
Awaken My Love and Gambino’s two prior studio albums were issued by the indie label Glassnote, home to bands such as Phoenix and Chvrches. Glover called the new record deal “a necessary change of pace,” as he joins a roster that includes SZA, Justin Timberlake, and many more.
New music from Gambino, who is nominated in multiple categories at the upcoming Grammy Awards, is expected later this year via Wolf + Rothstein/RCA Records, according to Variety.
