Blink-182 has to reschedule its forthcoming Las Vegas residency because the band’s drummer, Travis Barker, is suffering from a serious health issue.
“Friends, Travis Barker is suffering from blood clots in both arms and unfortunately cannot perform until cleared to do so by his medical team,” the band announced in a statement. “The situation is currently being closely monitored.”
The statement also included a personal message from Barker: “Drumming is my life and it kills me that I can’t perform for you this guys weekend. I hope to be back as soon as I can.”
The “Kings of the Weekend” residency’s dates will be rescheduled, but the band is offering refunds for those who cannot attend the new dates when they are announced.
