The recent string of off-screen drama surrounding the Kardashian clan will further delay production for their hit reality series.
Filming will not resume for “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” before the end of the year in the wake of Kim Kardashian’s traumatic robbery in Paris and Kanye West’s hospitalization, TMZ reports.
Producers originally intended to capture footage of the famous family through the holiday season, but Kim — who has remained out of the spotlight since the robbery — is reportedly still rattled by the ordeal, forcing the show’s execs to change their plans.
Shooting for the series has been put on hold since Oct. 3 in response to the robbery, and West’s ongoing hospital stay has also played a factor in the extended delay, according to the gossip site.
The E! Network show’s producers have reportedly compiled enough footage to fill the next season already, even without getting material from their holiday escapades.
The shut down in production could extend beyond the New Year, as well, as Kim is currently “rethinking everything,” sources told TMZ without going into further explanation.
Kardashian, 36, has kept an uncharacteristically low profile since being robbed at gunpoint by intruders at her Paris hotel room early last month, skipping out on a number of public outings while remaining off social media.
She planned to make her first red carpet appearance since the robbery last week at the Angel Ball in New York City, but ended up skipping it and rushing home to West’s aid upon learning of the hip-hop star’s hospitalization.
West, 39, was admitted to the UCLA Medical Center last week after displaying erratic behavior that prompted his personal doctor to call paramedics, TMZreported.
The doctor reportedly disclosed in the phone call that West was suffering from temporary psychosis stemming from dehydration and sleep deprivation, but the “Fade” rapper’s issues are feared to be even more serious. He’s been struggling with feelings of depression and paranoia for a while, according to the gossip site.
Doctors had reportedly hoped to release West on Monday, but he is yet to be deemed stable.
“In the hospital he has been very paranoid and is under constant watch for his safety,” a source told People magazine.
“He’s still there because clearly he’s not doing well.”
West canceled the remaining 21 shows of his “Saint Pablo Tour” a few hours before being hospitalized.
