Nominees for the 2018 BET Awards have been announced!
DJ Khaled leads the group of nominees with six noms, followed closely by SZA and Migos who received four. Billboard reports that Khaled is nominated for Album of the Year for Grateful and Video of the Year for “Wild Thoughts.” Migos also landed a nomination for Video of the Year for “Walk it Talk It,” featuring Drake, and a nomination for Best Group.
SZA’s four nominations include Best New Artist, Best Female R&B / Pop Artist, Album of the Year, the Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award, making her the most nominated woman at this year’s event. The singer will compete with Beyoncé for Best Female R&B / Pop Artist, a category that includes other formidable nominees like H.E.R., Rihanna, and Kehlani.
